RUTHER HOME

This was a rental we completely gutted to studs! There were years of wallpaper, which we were certain each had their own story to tell! We touched every room in this sweet home.  With this being a rental, we wanted to maintain the home's integrity while making it functional for the tenants.

We took out a wall between the kitchen and dining room, adjusted the entry to the first floor bedroom, and reworked some of the basement layout. By reworked and updating both full baths, the space became more efficient for the intended college renters.

Since we submitted for permitting, with the amount of work being done, we updated all knob and tooth wiring and electric throughout all three floors, fixed and brought all plumbing up to current code requirements, and reworked some of the HVAC. Not only did this space end up stunningly beautiful, the work was done well and with the budget in mind!
